New Outlook 1.2025 Setup

The "new Outlook" experience is being rolled out to Windows 10 and Windows 11 users. This new Outlook is being phased in starting in 2025. If you have Windows 11, you will almost certainly have this email client. If you are already using this and wish to modify your settings, Click Here.

Firstly, load New Outlook. You will note that this version doesn't have the "file" option in the menu.

 

Click the settings cog towards the top-right.

 

Click "Add Account".

 

You will be prompted for your email address which you should enter.

 

Next, enter your password.

 

You will see an option to sync your IMAP account to the Microsoft Cloud. Click "Continue" on this page.

 

It should now say that everything has been synced. Click "Done".

 

You will now be asked to sign in, click "Sign In".

 

Re-enter your password.

 

After clicking "Continue", your emails will be shown.

Modifying your settings

Click the settings cog towards the top-right.

 

Click the "Manage" button for the account you wish to change.

 

Next, click the "Repair" button.

 

All the options proposed by the software are displayed. Click "Continue" and your email should be working again.
