iPhone email Setup
Before you start, you need to set up an email account within the control panel. Please see our instructions for this here.
On your iPhone, please do the following (and replace domain-name-here.co.uk with your own domain)...
- In settings, select "Apps", "Mail", followed by "Mail Accounts" (if older than iOS 18, in settings, select "Mail" followed by "Accounts").
Select "Add account" followed by "Other".
- Select "Add mail account" and fill in your details e.g...
Name: Bob Cratchit --- your own name or company name goes here
Email: bob@domain-name-here.co.uk --- You could choose an address such as info@domain-name-here.co.uk here if you've set up a forwarder
Password: ********
Description: domain-name-here.co.uk
Click [Next]
- Make sure that IMAP is highlighted and fill in the mail server settings...
Incoming Mail Server...
host name: mail.<YOUR-SITE-NAME>
user name: bob@domain-name-here.co.uk
password: ********
Outgoing Mail Server...
host name: mail.<YOUR-SITE-NAME>
user name: bob@domain-name-here.co.uk
password: ********
- Click [Next] and there will be a delay as the phone verifies the settings with our server. You should then click [Save].
- You should now be able to collect (and view) emails via the mail function on the phone.
Note: Please bear in mind that it can take 24-48 hours for new domain name settings to filter through
the Internet and nobody will be able to send emails to you until this has happened.

Scroll to the bottom and click 'Advanced'. Then choose 'Drafts Mailbox' and select the 'Drafts' folder on the server.
Click 'Advanced', choose 'Sent Mailbox' and select the 'Sent' folder on the server.
Click 'Advanced' again, choose 'Deleted Mailbox' and select the 'Trash' folder on the server.
